Very clean home. Was the perfect size for our family, quiet neighborhood. Very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do with children of all ages.

I had a wonderful stay in Winston-Salem at Rafael's home. It was warm, comfortable, clean and well furnished with what you will need. I will definitely plan on another stay with when visiting the area.

Lovely home in a great spot for walking. Proximity to Bobby Boy Bakery is a huge plus. Hosts were clear and helpful. Easy in every way. Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our long weekend visit! The house was in a convenient location: close to Bobby Boy's newest location, East of Texas, and Slappy's Chicken. The house was also clean, comfortable and bright with lots of natural light. The large yard and neighborhood sidewalks were perfect for walking our dog too. We would gladly visit again.

Great experience & property!

This place was perfect for us! Right around the corner from friends we were visiting. Just a few minutes to walk to a brewery (Lesser Known) and Bobby Boy bakery was wonderful. The place was very spacious and perfect for our family with two kids. There were a few board games in the living room that the kids liked playing with, too.

We had a great stay, and enjoyed walking to restaurants and bars close by. The place was very clean. Communication was quick and clear.

Rafael was very responsive. Easy check-out instructions. Location was convenient to many places.

The house was in a convenient location and we appreciated that it was pet-friendly. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the smell of dogs inside the home was very strong and made it uncomfortable for us. Because of this, we ended up leaving after the first night even though we had booked for two. While we understand that pets are allowed, a deeper cleaning or better odor control would make a big difference for future guests.

This property has been very nicely remodeled. Everything was clean and very comfortable. It’s a short walk to restaurants, a wonderful bakery and only two doors down from vintage shops.

Rafael’s home was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. It had everything we needed for a few days away from home. The house was right down the street from a restaurant that we walked to for brunch and we loved not having to drive too far to get to anything. Rafael communicated well with us prior to the trip and was available if we needed anything. We would definitely return in the future!

Very nice and conveniently located place, close to the Moravian village (10-12 minute walk) and to Bobby Boy Bakeshop (3 minute walk). Much space inside and outside the house, notably at the back if you have a dog. Very clean and well-maintained place. A/C works perfectly - place is cool in hottest weather. Communication with hosts is easy and they are available online at all time. Would go back there anytime.

Wonderful little house in the heart of Winston. Right up the block from cute shops and super close to the city to explore. Extremely comfortable and very cozy for the price we paid. Definitely worth it!

The listing stated that 3 queen beds are provided but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the one in the Master suite was actually a King size bed. I hope he updates this in his profile. I almost passed up this house since it’s a king that I prefer. The “master suite” does not have an en-suite bathroom but having a king size bed made up for this! Didnt get to enjoy the outside greenery as much as we would have liked. Mosquitos seem to prefer our blood and so we stayed indoors when at the property.

This property was nice to lay your head and rest. Cute and cozy! Only concern is driving into and/or leaving the property. Its located on the main street and the front brushes are blocking the view. The front lawn needs a little care but overall a cozy property. The host was very responsive and professional.

We loved staying here. The house was perfect. The kitchen and master bath - amazing. Wish we had more free time to enjoy the outdoor areas. Would certainly stay here again when in Winston-Salem!!

This location is close to everything which is great. The porch and yard need some TLC. It wasn’t a bad Air B&B, but I wouldn’t stay there again. Minimal essentials.

Very nice house that’s has been remodeled but driveway was hard to get in due to it being a very busy street and we passed it the first time bc it’s hard to see from the road. But once we got settled it is a very relaxing after a long drive. Would definitely stay again.

This home was a perfect location for restaurants, coffee shops & playgrounds. Super close to downtown but also easy to navigate. We loved the big backyard and the many windows for natural light. They had games & a puzzle we did as a family. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect palace to stay

For our first time in NC, we didnt have a great idea of where to stay. Rafael’s place is conveniently near all the Winston-Salem highlights. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into the details in this home, and were very flexible with us (hugely important since we had a 6-month old). We couldnt have asked for a kinder host, who really did everything to make our stay stress-free. I only rated this a 4 for a few reasons: the location has a bit of a hidden driveway, which is busy at times, so walkability with a stroller is fairly challenging. Also, no fault of the owner, the previous guests didn’t take care of the home during their stay, which left a few issues for us to overlook (we did receive a discount in recognition of our concerns which was appreciated). The outside of the home did need some landscaping care, but that could have been due to weather. Based on the potential i see and my interactions with the host, Im confident this would be a 5 star review next time.

Fantastic Location - we didn't expect to be walkable to so many great places. The brewery down the street (Lesser Known) is probably one of the best I have been to anywhere. There are also restaurants within short walk and all of downtown is a quick drive or long walk. Great to have a convenient, pet-friendly stay with large backyard and house was thoughtfully arranged for Airbnb guest stays. Finding the brewery was a real highlight of our stay and we spent both evenings there.

Rafael's place was very comfortable and well cleaned! It is spacious and has all the amenities we needed, with a full kitchen and very comfortable dining/living room areas. It has a large (unfenced) back yard area if you have a pet, which worked perfectly for us. For an extended stay, it's a great place to be, super close to UNCSA, Old Salem, and downtown. The only downside is it is right on a very busy main road, so you'll get traffic noise in the morning in the front bedroom - not like NYC of course, but should be noted if you are a light sleeper, you'll hear cars passing by early. It's also a little tricky to pull in and out of the driveway due to the location, just FYI. Walking is nice once you get a couple blocks away from the home - you can easily walk to Old Salem and the farmer's market on Saturdays, which is delightful.

It’s in a perfect location, with several great restaurants just a short walk away, which made exploring the area super convenient. We enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful house and backyard, my dog certainly enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The house was clean and cozy. Very nice location near many of our downtown favorites. I would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed staying here for a long weekend! The beds and linens were so cozy and we slept well. The house was clean and well decorated. Perfect for what we needed at a cheaper price than hotels for the whole weekend!

I have been receiving care at the the Wake Froest Eye Center in Winston Salem. We live three hours away, so the travel time and the two-hour appointment time makes for a long day. We decided to try to spend a couple of night in Winston Salem to lessen the burden. Rafael's place was a peaceful oasis. The decor is soothing and wonderful. Everything has been redone in soft, monochromatic tones, the kitchen is open and spacious, the bed that we chose is wonderful and the shower is wonderful. The backyard is not completely fenced, but it was large enough for our bichon mix to have a safe place to run free. We would suggest adding some table lamps to the living room to have a place for reading -- my husband and I are not TV fans. All in all -- a healing oasis!

Terrific 2 bedroom, 2 full bath home! We had a great stay at this spacious and well-appointed home. It's very convenient to Old Salem and downtown, and you can easily walk to nearby restaurants and Saturday Farmer's Market. Backyard is a bonus -- plenty of chairs and a fire pit. Erin and Rafael are super nice and responsive.

The house is just as it says! Newer updates make it like staying at your own home! House was clean and welcoming! If I had a question host responded almost immediately! I will book again and again!

This lovely house was exactly as described and extremely clean. It is suitable for families with a large back yard and lovely fire pit. We were in for the Taekwondo America National tournament and found the home perfect for four adults and two children. It was peaceful and again, very clean. There were no missing amenities. Check in was simple. The whole experience was the best Airbnb I have had.

Great communication, house is very cute, super comfy beds. There is some traffic noise that could potentially bother a light sleeper, but the location is perfect for easy access to the Saturday farmer’s market, Old Salem, the Strollway, downtown, and UNCSA, as well as a microbrewery, restaurant, and a couple of neat little shops.

Perfect place and location!

My recent stay had both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the host was accommodating when I requested an early check-in, which I appreciated. The property itself had potential, with a layout and amenities that could have made for a comfortable stay. However, there were several issues that impacted my experience. Upon arrival, I noticed cleanliness concerns, including dirty underwear left in the house and unclean surfaces and floors. These details fell short of basic expectations, especially considering a $125 cleaning fee was charged. Additionally, a broken curtain rod left one window without curtains, which affected privacy. While the host explained that the curtain rod repair had been scheduled, there was miscommunication from the host, leaving the issue unresolved during my stay. I believe the property could be a great option with improved cleanliness and clearer communication around maintenance. these shortcomings detracted from my overall experience.

This is a beautiful little house with lovely touches. It's clean as can be and the mattresses and bedding are especially comfortable. There's also a nice, large backyard and the showers are spectacular. Highly recommend.

Rafael and Erin are great host. This place is a cute little gem, nestled in a quiet area in downtown Winston Salem. This is a new listing and I presume the property will only get better as time passes, so please be kind to this property and its hosts. The bathrooms are so beautiful and the water pressure is absolutely amazing! Only thing that could make this place an 11/10 instead of 10/10 is having TV’s in the bedrooms. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was a great 2 bedroom house. I would have given a 5 across the board, but the bathroom off the living area had a few issues that I am sure Rafael will address. The other bathroom was great with a huge shower with 2 heads. This bathroom is attached to the back bedroom with 2 beds. The king room doesn't have a bath attached, but it is off the living area. But loved having 2 full baths. It would have been nice to have a place to put toiletries in the bathroom and perhaps a dresser or table in the king room, but this is a newer Airbnb and I am sure they will get more of these things in the days ahead. Comfortable beds, clean, great kitchen and living area with curtains, fans. Location easy to get to and close to Old Salem!

The location, communication, set out of the apartment and the extremely comfortable beds were the stand out attributes of this listing. It was a 5 minute walk to the Old Salem visitors centre, a short drive into town and easily accessible to the highway, however also peaceful and quiet. Communication from Rafael and Erin was efficient and friendly. Bedrooms were spacious and separate from each other offering privacy to individual guests and the beds themselves gloriously comfortable, my mother even took a photo of the brand name tag! I would recommend a stay a Rafael and Erins :)

This home was perfect for us. Very clean, roomy, close to everything. Several air BnB homes close by, family was within walking distance.

The property was as described and in a fabulous location. We enjoyed the vintage shops next door and our walks to Lot 63 in Old Salem and Camino in Brookstown. Rafael and Erin were kind and responsive. We will return!

This place was a literal gem! It was posted as a new listing & the price was comparable (& in most cases less) than local hotels for the homecoming weekend I'm Winston-Salem. This 2 bedroom/2 bath home was so inviting. We walked in to welcome home signage, an inviting open floor concept & the rooms were completely separated to space everyone out. We honestly wished we had more time to stay, sit & relax in the home itself during our stay. Spa vibe shower in the back bedroom with 2 rainfall type shower heads, old school board games/cards, the greenest backyard I have ever seen in Winston-Salem with chairs & table to sit out back to enjoy a cup of coffee or bask in its quiet serenity & the picnic setup for eating inside PRICELESS! If that was not enough the beds, linens & pillows rival that of a 5 star hotel & there was an abundance of natural lighting during the day. We cannot wait to book again for next year or book one of Rafa & Erin's other listings. Highly recommend this property!
